Several bribery cases involving Malaysian officials have led to arrests and charges recently.

There has been a surge in attention on bribery cases in Malaysia, with multiple officials facing legal action. A traffic cop was sentenced to four months in jail for bribery. The former Temerloh police chief is ordered to enter defence on numerous bribery charges amounting to RM69,600. Additionally, 13 individuals including agency directors were remanded over a RM2.5 million bribery scheme.
