Electricity outages and reduced power production have become prominent concerns in Turkey, with scheduled cuts across Istanbul's districts and other cities amid falling water.

Turkey is currently experiencing significant electricity-related issues, with extensive powered cuts planned in Istanbul covering 22 districts, as well as scheduled outages in İzmir and Elazığ. These disruptions coincide with a critical drop in water levels at a major dam, threatening a possible 70 percent decrease in hydroelectric power output.
